Backcountry Projects

I had the privilege of providing graphic design services to the outdoor brand and vendor Backcountry for two years. There was an abundance of campaigns and promotions I worked on during this time; as well as optimizing templates and helping to set and maintain visual standards across channels.

Expedition Perks

This project was for the customer loyalty program at Backcountry.com. The logo consists of three peaks to represent the three reward tiers in the program (Trailhead, Switchback, and Summit). The colors were chosen with the intent to create a welcoming, friendly introduction to the perks system. A small set of icons was also developed for each benefit of the program (cash back, free shipping etc.).

Breaking Trail

This was Backcountry's sponsored advocate program; which helps to give a louder voice to some people in historically marginalized communities and their outdoor organizations. This amazing group of individuals know the importance of getting outside, and all work tirelessly to make the outdoors a welcoming and safe space for their community to enjoy. Each advocate had an array of assets and a featured page on the website.

Wander Your Waterways

Coming in to summer, this campaign was poised to showcase our assortment of water toys and their associated apparel and accessories. There was effort put in to showcase the product in use and selling them as a gateway to the experiences they offer.
